The Hoyt House is well protected… from site at least.
There is a nice wall surrounding the Hoyt Residence. This adds to the owners privacy. It also adds a level of intimacy to the gardens.

Geneva, Illinois is an up-scale neighborhood north-west of Chicago. The commuter train comes through the area, but it is a long way to downtown. Most of the homes were built in the early 1900s, but none of them look anything like the Hoyt residence.
The Tile work is wonderful.
